Human Resources Manager is responsible for supporting the company in all areas of Human Resources.  The incumbent will be focused on the recruitment, training and the employee relations needs of each company.  Incumbent must have experience in recruiting and training, along with a working knowledge of applicable EEO laws and relevant work experience implementing them.

Specific Responsibilities:

A Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Regional Human Resources Manager for it's company. The position will focus on employee relations, staffing and recruitment, training & development, worker's compensation, unemployment and all other human resources generalist functions. You will be supporting five individual business units in a variety of Central states.

This position requires a minimum of 5 years human resources generalist experience with a strong focus on recruiting, multi-site experience, a thorough and broad understanding of EEO-related laws, rules and regulations, project management and investigative experience. The ability to travel and work flexible hours is required. SHRM certification is strongly preferred

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of human resources generalist experience
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources management, employment law, labor relations or a related field or 7 years of experience
  • Society for Human Resources Management (PHR, SPHR) certification is preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish both orally and written required.
  • Prior experience in multi-regional/state service industry desirable.
  • Experience in recruiting & training.
  • Thorough and broad understanding of EEO-related laws, rules and regulations.
  • Ability to identify relevant issues, organize and conduct effective investigations, prepare concise and cogent written reports, and make recommendations for administrative action.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, organizational and analytical capabilities as well as maturity, good judgment, problem-solving skills and work experience in a diverse environment
  • A high degree of ethical professionalism regarding decision making and the protection of sensitive and confidential personnel information.
  • Ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to work within stringent deadlines and to work in a fast-paced environment.
