The Area Manager Tampa Bay must be dedicated, outgoing, organized, and adept at multi-tasking. The incumbent embraces collaboration and excels in a team setting.   This professional will get it done while being able to delegate where appropriate.  Excellent written communication skills and the ability to present material to a diverse group of stakeholders are critical to success.  Strong customer service acumen and follow through abilities will be important to lead a group of service professionals across multiple locations and provide the superior customer service for our clients.

Major Tasks, Key Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

  • Ability to lead, manage and hold onsite and remote teams accountable
  • Experienced creating and implementing systems, Standard Operating Procedures, and training staff
  • Accountable for attaining profit goals and maintaining expense budget
  • Strengthen customer relationships for long-term sustainability 
  • Develop and be accountable for a culture of safety to reduce and eliminate employee and customer injuries
  • Identify opportunities to implement new and innovative products and services which support business development, new sales, and client retention
  • Oversee regional employee recruitment and retention strategies while maintaining a viable pipeline of applicants and referrals
  • Provide regular training to regional team in the areas of Safety and Job-Related functions
  • Manage the contract administration process including amendments and extensions
  • Prepare reports on a daily, weekly and monthly schedule

 

Job Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of Supervisory experience with housekeeping and hotel staff; Bi-lingual skills in English and Spanish preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in the Hospitality industry with some multi-site management preferred
  • Computer literate to include proficiency with MS Office, timekeeping, HRIS, and other company-related systems
  • College Degree or Applicable Work History
